Would you like to…

• learn and perform stirring choral classics and discover lesser-known gems?
• experience the thrill of singing in live concerts both locally and in prestigious venues further afield?
• sing alongside dynamic professional orchestras and soloists?

We accept new members at any time (and we are actively seeking tenors at present) – although the ideal time to join is at the start of the rehearsal process for each concert: September for Christmas, or January for the spring performance, for example.  There is no audition, and you are welcome whether you are a regular or a rusty singer.

You don’t have to become a member immediately – feel free to come to a couple of rehearsals first, to make up your mind whether you like us and the way we work.  There are Voice Reps for the individual sections to help new members settle in, and we pride ourselves on being friendly and supportive. Rehearsals are usually challenging, but fun, and there is always the opportunity to socialise afterwards.

Annual Subscription

Our annual subscription, which includes hire of music and fees for occasional Saturday workshops in the run-up to concerts, is £125. Arrangements can be made to pay in two instalments.

Rehearsal Venue

We rehearse every Tuesday evening from 8pm to 10pm, in the Music Room, Berkhamsted School, Mill Street, Berkhamsted, HP4 2BB.  There is free local parking, and the School is only a few minutes walk from Berkhamsted Railway Station.
