Maggie Bowgen

Maggie BowgenMaggie rediscovered her love of singing when she joined the Berkhamsted Choral Society in 2010, as part of the alto section. The standards of music that are achieved by a non-auditioning choir never cease to amaze her, as well as the warmth and friendliness that she has met since joining. By becoming a committee member she hopes to help contribute to the continuing success of such a vibrant choir.

Julia Boyce

Julia BoyceIn spite of her life-long love of choral music Julia had not belonged to a choir since her student days until she joined BCS in 2003.  She sings soprano and amongst her favourites are works by Vivaldi, Pergolesi and Fauré.  Julia has also served as Librarian for BCS.  She spent most of her working life in education, in both teaching and administration, and is now retired and a proud grandmother of five.
